Jobs At VFD

If we want to carry on producing cool pages, then we need extra webmasters, programmers and people to research for us. This is a list of the kind of people we want and the jobs we need.

Webmasters

VFD is always open to new webmasters who want to maintain/create a page for us. The web master will need to know how to use a FTP program such as CuteFTP, Terrapin FTP and others, have a good knowledge of HTML if they want to make the pages from scratch or basic if they want to just update. JavaScript/Java would be useful to add extra things to the page although it is not necessary. This would be a long haul job and will require you to be on-line to update quite often.

Java/JavaScript Programmer

Just a part-time unless we start doing free applets! Obviously needs excellent Java/JavaScript skills for making applets and extra things for the page.

Graphics Specialists

For making all the free images and most of the images for the pages. This person will not only need skill in graphics but skill in getting the images as small as possible without losing quality. This would be a part-time job with not much work unless you want to make more images.

Researchers

Just a few people to find other people who might want a page done by VoLTAGE. They don't need to be fully 'employed' but can just pass the word. Maybe just link to us or e-mail a couple of people and ask if they might want a page done for free (like they wouldn't!). Suggestions are also a big plus whenever we're doing things.
